| In the summer of 1996, L. Dalton Potter assumed ownership of The Violin House of Weaver's retail and service operations. Since that time, the Potter Violin Company has grown to become the largest purveyor of bowed stringed instruments in the mid-Atlantic region.
As always, we strive to be a pillar of support for the teaching and performing communities. Working with music educators, we constantly refine our entire line of student instruments for optimum ease of play, reliability and tone color. Generations of music instructors, students and professionals have come to us with the confidence of obtaining the finest instruments, accessories, repairs, restorations, and maintenance because of our exacting professional standards, high level of service, and reasonable prices. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We're closed Sundays and Mondays. Of course, our Webstore is OPEN 24/7 at http://store.pottersviolins.com. For our patrons, convenient public parking is available right across the street from the shop in Montgomery County Public Parking Lot 10B. Parking costs only 25¢ per quarter-hour -- less on a long-term meter -- during the week and is FREE on Saturdays!
